In this Quick Reference Guide, we will learn how to add diagnosis using the IMO Search Tool.

Searching for Diagnosis
To search for a desired diagnosis:
- Click inside the Search field.
- Type in a Description for the diagnosis (i.e. hypertension, COPD, etc.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Users can also search for diagnoses using a ICD-10 code.
Note, that a list of suggested descriptions based on the key words typed in the Search field will appear. Users can select the description directly from this list.
Selecting Diagnosis
To select a diagnosis: Click the button with the + sign next to the desired description and diagnosis.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Clicking the arrowhead button next to the description and diagnosis allows the user to filter the list of options (See Screenshot below).
Selecting Current Diagnosis Status
After selecting the desired diagnosis; the IMO Assess Status window opens. Choose the Status that best describes the diagnosis of the patient during the current encounter by:
- Selecting the Status.
- Click OK.
Choosing the Destination for Diagnosis
By default the selected diagnosis will appear under the Assessment destination (current encounter).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Click here for more information on how to add diagnosis to the Problems destination.
Conclusion
Once all the desired diagnoses have been added: Click Save & Close.
