The NextGen system automatically queries patient medical record data at midnight two days prior to their appointment.
Available documents then display in the Data Share button, located in the EHR Patient Information Bar.
From the Data Share window:
- Click the document link to show to preview the information.
- Click the checkbox for the documents you wish to import into the chart
- Click Import
* Status column indicates progress. The import process can take a few minutes.
Imported CCD populate Categories > Data Share.
Manual Query:
Data Share query can be run manually for any patient at any time.
- Click Data Share button on the Patient Information Bar
- Click Search in the Data Share window
- Choose the start and stop date criteria.
