Changing the Current Location for Telehealth Visits

In an effort to help minimize billing issues. This Quick Reference Guide, will explain how to change the Current Location for Telehealth and Non-Telehealth visits.

Important Note: The Submit Code button will be unavailable if the Current Location and Encounter Location do not match.

Updating the Current Location for Telehealth Visits

If the patient is scheduled for a Telehealth visit. For billing purposes, the Current Location must be updated as follows:

  1. Click the drop down arrow next to Current Location.
  2. Select the DOHC Telehealth option.

Non-Telehealth Visit Reminder

When a patient is scheduled for a Non-Telehealth visit. It is equally important that you ensure that the Current Location matches the Encounter Location. This location reflects the location in which the patient is actually being encountered. (i.e. DOHC Primary Care PS, DOHC IC PS, etc.)

Follow the steps listed above to update Current Location for Non-Telehealth visits.

Remember, the Submit Code button will be unavailable if the Current Location and the Encounter Location do not match.

Once the Current Location has been updated to match the Encounter Location:

  • Click the Refresh button.

The Submit Code button should now appear.
