This Quick Reference Guide, explains the steps for downloading the VIP Access application to a providers Android or iPhone device.
This application should only be downloaded if the provider is electronically prescribing medications (ePCS) through the NextGen EHR Application.
Downloading the VIP Access Application Using an Android phone.
To download the VIP Access application using an Android phone:
- Locate and click on the Google Play Store icon.
In the Search field (usually located at the top of screen):
- Type VIP Access
- Click the Search Glass icon located on the on-screen keyboard.
When the VIP Access Symantec VIP page comes up:
- Click Install
- Click ACCEPT to allow the application to have access.
Some phone settings may require that you authenticate that you have access to install applications on your phone. (i.e. password, facial recognition, finger print, etc.)
After the install is complete, contact tech support at 760-320-8814 ext 1700 to complete the set-up for electronically prescribing medications.

To download the VIP Access application using an iPhone:
- Locate and click on the Apple Store icon.
Click the Search Glass icon located at the bottom of the screen. (home screens may differ from phone to phone)
In the Search field:
- Type VIP Access.
- Click Search.
To install the application:
- Click GET.
