The Patient Demographics template has been enhanced to do the following:
- Update PCP information from the Modify Patient Information window.
- Add a Primary Practice Provider.
Updating PCP Information
To update the PCP information from the Demographics template:
- Scroll down to or expand the PCP/Primary Practice Provider/Pharmacy panel.
- Click inside the PCP field.
The Panel Description has been changed from PCP/Pharmacy to PCP/Primary Practice Provider/Pharmacy to reflect the enhancement.
The PCP can be updated from the Primary Care Provider field.
Adding the Primary Practice Provider
If pertinent, the Primary Practice Provider can be added using the Patient Demographics template. To add this information:
- Click inside the Primary Practice Provider field.
- Select the Provider from the Physician window.
- Click OK.
