Important Message
It is important to note that when sending multiple medications to the Secondary Pharmacy destination, ONLY THE HIGHLIGHTED prescriptions will be sent to that location. All other medications will be sent to the Primary Pharmacy destination if not selected.
In this Quick Reference Guide we will explain the proper steps for sending multiple prescriptions to the Secondary Pharmacy destination. This material also assumes that the user has a basic understanding of how to dispense medications from the Medications Module.
Sending Multiple Medications to the Secondary Pharmacy
In the Medications Module:
- Select the desired medications to be sent. (use shift or ctrl buttons to make multiple selections)
- Click Send
Choosing Secondary Pharmacy Destination
- Select each medication using the Shift + down arrow keys on the keyboard.
- Click drop down arrow to select Secondary Pharmacy Destination.
- Click Send
