Electronically Reconciling Medications from Med Module

In this Quick Reference Guide, we will explain how to Electronically Reconcile medications from the Medications Module.

To Electronically Reconcile Medications

Click the Reconcile button on the Medication Toolbar.

Clinical Reconciliation

From the Document section of the Clinical Reconciliation window:

  • Select the desired Clinical Document (also known as C-CDA) being used to reconcile the patient's existing medications list in EHR.

Completing the Reconciliation Process

Important Note: The imported document compares it's medication information with the existing patient's medications list in EHR. If the Medication is not recognized the "Add" Action will  appear next to the Medication.

To complete the Reconciliation Process:

  1. Review the EHR and Import Medications list for accuracy.
  2. Review the Reconciliation Summary window for Add new items.
  3. Click the Confirm button to import new medications to patient's chart.

Additional Note: The patient's inactive list of medications will also be used in comparing any imported documentation.
