In this Quick Reference Guide we will discuss how to order X-Ray & Ultrasounds using the RadNet Interface. This Quick Reference Guide assumes that the user has a basic understanding of how to access patient records in the EHR Application.
Accessing the Diagnostic Template
To access the Diagnostic template:
- Select the Intake MG template from today's encounter.
- Click on Navigation Bar.
- Select Diagnostics from the menu.
Creating Diagnostic Exam
To order diagnostics from the Diagnostic template:
- Select Diagnosis
- Location will be Desert Advanced Imaging
- Select if any apply (Fasting, Send Films, Urgent or STAT Read)
- Select Type of Exam
- Select Study Test (Note: Search field can also be used to select study test)
- Enter the Reason and or any provider Comments regarding specific findings or instructions.
- If applicable select views from the Side field. (ex. right, left, and bi-lateral)
- Select Place Order
* Please note by selecting Place Order it will automatically be sent to RadNet.
Accessing Diagnostic Exam order in Orders Module
To access the Diagnostic Exam order:
- Click the test tubes to access the Orders Module.
- Select the Orders Summary tab.
- Select the Radiology filter.
- Description will provide exam information.
Important Note
If the Requisition is printed it will indicate that the order has been sent to RadNet.
