A new Link has been added to the Telephone Call MG template allowing easier documentation for patients on Controlled Substances. Within this template, the user will be able to access the CURES website link among other helpful resources.
Telephone Call MG
With the assumption that the user has opened an encounter, and has opened the Telephone Call MG template. User can access the Controlled Substance link from the Medication Management contact type template.
- Click on Controlled Substance link.
Using the Controlled Medication Rx Template
With this template, users will find it easy to document pertinent information. In addition, this template provides a guide for safely prescribing Controlled Substances.
- Select New or Refill radio button.
- Click in CURES link to log in. Dates for UDS & Agreement display.
- Comments box available for additional documentation.
- Screening Tools offers links to additional resources.
- Click Save & Close.
All call information, including what was documented in the Controlled Medication Prescription template, will be saved to the Communication log.
