The Reason for Visit panel has been enhanced to alert users when adding Duplicate Reasons. The alert is triggered when a Reason is already selected and the user attempts to add the chief complaint again by using one of the following methods:
- Default Reason for Visit panel list.
- Free texting the Reason using the Other text field.
- Documenting the Reason using Additional/Manage link.
Note: The alert feature does not apply to the Dermatology and Ophthalmology specialties.
