In this Quick Reference Guide we will discuss the two new protocols added to Care Guidelines. The two protocols added are: Chlamydia Screening, and Gonorrhea Screening.
Adding protocols
Since the same steps apply to adding both the Chlamydia and Gonorrhea protocols. We will only explain how to add the Chlamydia Screening protocol in this example.
To add protocols; click the Add/Update button on the Care Guidelines Paged view.
Condition
In the Active Guidelines panel:
- Click Condition field
- Select desired guideline (Chlamydia Screening or Gonorrhea Screening)
- Click OK
Diagnosis
A diagnosis must be associated with the selected Condition (protocol).
- Click Diagnosis field to search and select the desired diagnosis.
- Click Add.
- Click Save & Close.
Care Guidelines Paged View
The added patient guideline (protocol) now appears on the Care Guidelines Paged view.
