Weekly Notification of NextGen Updates, Enhancements & Fixes

Type Description.
Update

The CAIR reconciliation process in the Immunization Module is now restored to limited capacity (see recommendations below).

Utilize the Adult and Pediatric Immunization templates. Indicators were added to the to those templates to indicate when it is "OK to Reconcile" or when it is "Not Recommended".

  • When reconciliation is not recommended the date of next reconciliation displays at the end of the indicator.

Per CAIR the following limitations are recommended to ensure the CAIR system remains functional:

1. Reconcile up to two times per patient per visit.

2. Do not reconcile a patient unless 18-days has elapsed since the last visit.

To ensure that we do not disrupt your daily practice activity, we have developed a standard update schedule and communication plan. Scheduled enhancements will take place after normal business hours (after 5:00 pm.), with prior notification, including training tools if necessary.

In addition, we ask that you notify anyone within your practice that uses NextGen to ensure they are properly logged out of the NTT Data System in order for the completion of these updates.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns regarding these notifications and we will gladly assist. We would also like to hear from you about how to improve this process.

Once again, we appreciate your business and thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Respectfully,

DOHC NextGen Support Services Team
