Weekly Notification of NextGen Updates, Enhancements & Fixes


Type Description.
Enhancement

Two changes are coming the Referrals Order MG template that will display on the Referral document:

1. Added a CPT Code field to the Referrals MG template. When you select the radio button for Consults, Evaluations, and Follow-up Visits.

  • Consults and Evaluations, the CPT code field will default to '99203'.
  • Follow-up visits, the CPT code field will default to '99213'

Please note, the CPT code field has a pick list to allow you to select higher or lower levels of service from 99202 to 99205 OR 99211 to 99215.

2. The Level of Urgency pick list 'Urgent 24 Hours' will be replaced with 'Expedited'.

To ensure that we do not disrupt your daily practice activity, we have developed a standard update schedule and communication plan. Scheduled enhancements will take place after normal business hours (after 5:00 pm.), with prior notification, including training tools if necessary.

In addition, we ask that you notify anyone within your practice that uses NextGen to ensure they are properly logged out of the NTT Data System in order for the completion of these updates.
