Weekly Notification of NextGen Updates, Enhancements & Fixes

Type Description
Enhancement Updated Referring Provider MG pop-up template by adding a Save & Task button which will attach the template to the task sent to a staff member.

The intention is to help staff know which providers to "CC" visit notes.
Enhancement On the Adult Immunization MG template an option for allergy was added on the Quick documentation Refusal of COVID-19 Vaccine.

  • Clicking the Submit button,  will add an allergy to the patient's allergies displaying as "COVID-19 VIRUS VACCINES".
Enhancement Updated the document Vaccine Admin Record to include more details about the vaccine:
  • Admin time
  • Site administered
  • Lot Number
  • Manufacturer
Update Updated the Telephone call MG template to resolve an issue where the visit type does not default to Patient Communication.

To ensure that we do not disrupt your daily practice activity, we have developed a standard update schedule and communication plan. Scheduled enhancements will take place after normal business hours (after 5:00 pm.), with prior notification, including training tools if necessary.

In addition, we ask that you notify anyone within your practice that uses NextGen to ensure they are properly logged out of the NTT Data System in order for the completion of these updates.
