Weekly Notification of NextGen Updates, Enhancements & Fixes

Update We are aware of issue where Medicare insurance is displaying in the top information bar for some patients when it should not be showing
(see example).

Please accept our apologies for the confusion this has caused. 

  • The reason Medicare insurance was added or updated on these patients was for COVID-19 vaccinations.

We are making a change to EHR settings tonight to keep this insurance from showing. Instead you will see the Encounter insurance in the information bar
(see example).

To ensure that we do not disrupt your daily practice activity, we have developed a standard update schedule and communication plan. Scheduled enhancements will take place after normal business hours (after 5:00 pm.), with prior notification, including training tools if necessary.

In addition, we ask that you notify anyone within your practice that uses NextGen to ensure they are properly logged out of the NTT Data System in order for the completion of these updates.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns regarding these notifications and we will gladly assist. We would also like to hear from you about how to improve this process.
